Our Hospital Staff:
Our management team (left to right): Deb, Judy, Amy and Bobbie.
These ladies are the backbone of our hospital and keep us running smoothly and efficiently. They handle and oversee an huge variety of duties ranging from accounting to inventory to regulatory matters. Deb has been here since almost the beginning and besides being a super sweet lady, she is always a wealth of information about animal care and husbandry. Bobbie and Judy have been here for almost thirty years and we'd be lost without them. Their cheerful smiles and friendly dispositions brighten any room they are in. Amy has been a part of this hospital for ten years and we couldn't have a more competent member of our team. She's also rumored to have a boxer and basset hound fetish.
Our certified veterinary technicians: Michelle (left) and Sharon (right)

Both Sharon and Michelle are invaluable additions to our hospital. Since not all veterinary technicians pursue further education and become certified, we are lucky to have two such techs here. To maintain their certification, they must complete continuing education classes yearly to stay updated on various medical practices. Sharon manages our in-house lab facilities and assists our doctors with a variety of procedures. You will typically see her admitting patients in the early morning for procedures. Michelle is our Dental Queen and performs the majority of our dental procedures under the supervision of our veterinarians. She has a mild greyhound obsession. Both ladies also assist our doctors during surgery in a number of ways, such as preparing animals for procedures and monitoring them under anesthesia and post-operatively.
Our receptionists (left to right): Ashlee, Jayne, Kerri, Haley, Melissa and Martha

Perhaps one of our fabulous receptionists have greeted you in the past? These ladies are the front-runners of our hospital staff. They handle all aspects of client service and care and do so with grace and compassion. Jayne has worked here for over six years and can be spotted walking her darling Pomeranian Lilly. Ashlee started in the summer of 2007 and we couldn't live without her now! She's also rumoured to have a slightly neurotic dog and very cute kitten. Kerry and Haley have been with us for nearly a year now and they are now pros at their jobs. Melissa and Martha are more recent additions, but we are lucky to have all of them as members of our team!
Our veterinary technicians (left to right): Laura, Sharon, Lisa, Sandy and Alyssa (right side)

Our fine technicians handle many jobs including treating patients, managing our in-house lab facilities and assisting doctors with a variety of procedures. They do it all! And they always do it with a smile. We depend on their competance and expertise on a daily basis. You might not always see these ladies when you come in, but you can be assured they are taking top-notch care of your pets. Laura has two rambunctious black labs that frequently give her a run for her money. We prize Lisa as our insider connection to Twin Lanterns and ice cream. Sharon is a bit of a chicken fanatic, but she also has a small herd of llamas at home. Sandy will be completing a certified veterinary technician program this spring and hopefully joining us as our large animal technician. Alyssa is our resident cat whisperer. She also handles most of our patient discharges as she enjoys working one-on-one with both patients and clients.
Our kennel staff and veterinary assistants (left to right): Danielle, Molly and Lauren

Danielle, of course, is the backbones of our animal care staff. She is the one taking care of all your pets while they stay with us. She makes sure everyone has clean, comfortable beds, fresh food and water and does a lot of our grooming. She has a special love for boxers, as she has a couple herself. While we frequently lose Molly V during the college semester, we adore her while we have her here. She frequently works out back answering phones or shorting through a multitude of papers, always with a smile and friendly disposition. Lauren is going to school for pre-vet/animal science and we only get to keep her part-time unfortunately. Not shown here is our dear Gretchen, who we get to keep during school vacations.
Our Hospital Cat - Chip!
Chip is our resident hospital cat. He came to us as a stray and he was so handsome, we just had to keep him! His favorite hobbies include sleeping in baskets, knocking pens off desks and sneaking a taste of cream cheese. He has become quite a fixture in our back office where he sleeps most of the day in his basket. You can occasionally find him watching the outside world go by from our sidedoor. He doesn't like dogs much, but luckily he is smart enough to stay out of their way!
 Our computer/business consultant: Bart
Most clients will never get to meet our Bart, who is the brother of our dear Mrs. Marston! He's always out back in the office, working tirelessly so our business stays on track.
